“How to Make a Valentine Wreath,
(or) a Heart Shaped Wreath”
Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays.
I love the pinks and reds in flowers, in candy, and in greeting cards! The hugs, and kisses from “that special someone” make it a day that will “Tickle Your Fancy”.
I know you would love to welcome your guests to your home during this fun holiday with a wreath as beautiful as this one, right? Well, I have a secret!!**** I KNOW that you can! I know that you can make a wreath like this pretty heart shaped one, because I am going to teach you how.
The best part is that it is not hard. I show you step-by-step each thing you should do in order to end up with an amazing wreath on your door. We don’t have much time, so let’s get started…. “I Know YOU Can Do It”!!
The GREAT thing about this video is you can use it to make a hart shaped wreath for any time of year! I love heart-shaped wreaths in the bathroom! Oh, and what about in a baby’s room, or a little girl’s room. This instructional video IS NOT just for Valentine’s Day!
Take a look at this short clip below to see what you will learn…
“Be My Valentine”
- Shows you close-up pictures along with step-by-step instructions as I make a beautiful “Valentine”, heart-shaped wreath from a round wild birch wreath.
- I explain how to add loops of freshly harvested honeysuckle
- You will learn how to make your own bird’s nest out of green sheet moss and nestle your little bird right in
- I show you how to make a beautiful bow, as well as how to anchor a wooden heart into your wreath
- You can purchase the entire video below. It is over an hour long!
This is a different type of video than you have purchased from me before… Oh, the video is still of excellent quality, of course, and the information you receive in this video is filled with my “very best” secrets and ideas.
No figuring out how to download it to a slow computer
No trying to put a huge file on a computer that is already full
No trying to download, if you still have dial-up (yes, some do)
And, I did not want you to have to order a DVD, and then wait to receive it

Nancy, you mentioned the glue strings while preparing the gorgeous Wild wreath and Honeysuckle vine—I just watched the video. I’ve been told by local craft store to use a hairdryer on HOT and blow it at my glued objects (whatever they are) and that the little strings you can only see in the best of light will disappear. Probably one of those heat embosser blowers would work too.
As I said, I haven’t tried it yet myself, but the person who told me is a very good crafter and sells tons of things in her shop. Hope it helps you and all your customers.
Janie
That’s a good idea Janie. I did try something similar, and it does melt your glue a little – sometimes making it drip where you may not want it to, or loosening something just a little.
I appreciate you hint, and will try it again. I guess I just really like to see the glue to make sure that my item will not ever come loose. But, I do always hide my glue with a small pinch of green sheet moss.
I had one who customer who lived in a desert environment with the hot sun shining on her door every day, tell me that wreaths she had purchased from others had stems falling out because the heat melted the glue. She said she had never had a problem with my wreaths coming apart like that.
When I add a stem with glue and moss, if it is not tucked in securely as well, I always tie with wire, string, or a pipe cleaner also.
Thanks again… Smiles… Nancy
What a beautiful wreath from a beautiful lady! I want to thank you for sharing your ideas. I am so interested in your ideas and appreciate your teaching method of showing everything in detail. I hope to purchase one of your videos soon. In the meantime, I haave watched and rewatched what I’ve been able to and I have gone to Michael’s to purchase wreaths to get started. My husband, however, isn’t happy with what I’ve done so far. I’ve started so many hobbies, such as cake decorating, drawing, painting, floral arrangements, etc., and I have a lot of hobby purchases and the closet is overflowing and the drawers are too, and nothing ever makes any money that I’ve started. Nevertheless, I know that the wreaths I have purchased are going to turn into something beautiful and someone else will want one of them too. Yours are excellent, above the best I’ve seen for sale at well I won’t say the name of the store where they sale the completed product. I love that you share what you do and teach it too. Thank you very much. I’ve had back surgery and although I’m healed (which took a year to heal), I still have pain and am on medications and have limitations and spend a lot of time in bed. I hope I can make some beautiful wreaths and bows. I really do. GOD bless you, lovely lady.
Cindy Lee (age 58)
Oh, thank you Cindy for the email. You can’t imagine how much notes such as yours from all my customers mean to me.
And, I am happy you like my “teaching” method. I have worked on it and perfected it for many years changing ideas and instructions around quite often if I saw anyone had a problem with it.
Good for you for purchasing your supplies so you can get started. I have a feeling that this is going to be like no other project you have started before! And… after you get a little experience with wreath making and coming up with your own ideas, you will find that you just might be able to use some of your other supplies left over from other projects….:o) I am talking about making “character” wreaths which will be the next, newest thing we will all embark on. So, don’t worry about your closet of supplies – I suspect that you will be digging through those very soon!
You are very welcome! I LOVE what I am doing, and I sincerely LOVE helping and encouraging women like you!
Remember: “I Know YOU Can Do It”…Smiles… Nancy
